El Metro to Offer Free Bus Rides on November 1

LAREDO, Texas—El Metro will offer free rides all day on Friday, November 1 as part of a partnership with H-E-B. City residents and visitors are invited to take advantage of the free service to experience El Metro and attend H-E-B’s Feast of Sharing Thanksgiving Dinner Friday at Sames Auto Arena from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Those interested in taking the bus to the Feast of Sharing can board Route 11 Gustavus/Airport. Pick up and drop of areas for the Feast of Sharing will be located behind the Arena.
Residents are encouraged to get to know the city by taking advantage of the free rides throughout the day with routes that go along Zapata Highway, IH-35 and Mines Road. Riders can also bring their bikes on their rides.
