(Laredo, Texas)-Laredo Stroke Support Group (LSSG) established a partnership with Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center when they opened their new offices inside the rehabilitation center. LSSG held a ribbon cutting for their new office site on Monday, July 8, at 10 a.m. at the Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center located at 1220 N. Malinche Ave.
Laredo Stroke Support Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by stroke through the use of meaningful group encouragement, local networking support, and free therapy services.
Through an adaptive program, LSSG strives to offer all forms of therapy that best suit the needs of stroke survivors. In turning victims into survivors, LSSG’s efforts remain focused on the resiliency and capacity to build on the things that stroke cannot take away.
The Cowl Center’s Board of Directors and its Administration are happy and excited to welcome LSSG to its facility. The similarities in both agency missions set the ground for great success through this partnership.
The Center continues to be the only not-for-profit out-patient rehabilitation facility within a 150-mile radius offering therapy services to individuals regardless of age, origin, race, nationality, creed, or economic status.
Together Laredo Stroke Support Group and Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center will strive to enhance their relationships with the Laredo community by continuing to serve those in need.
