City of Laredo Issues Call for Artist Proposals for New Mural Project

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo is inviting local artists to submit individual applications for an upcoming mural project at the Martha C. Narvaez City Hall Apartments located at 820 Convent Ave. The mural will be part of ongoing efforts to beautify the City and promote community pride.
For those who are interested in applying, there will be an optional informational meeting on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library located at 1120 Calton Rd.
The mural proposals must not exceed $10,000 and must be a historically matching conceptual mural. Proposals must be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office at City Hall, located at 1110 Houston Street, no later than 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019.
