S.O.S. (Supply Our Students) Concert Wednesday

The much awaited S.O.S. (Supply Our Students) Tejano concert kicks off Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at LIFE DOWNS. This is the 10th year that Webb County Judge Danny Valdez, the City of Laredo, LISD and UISD and corporate sponsors have joined forces to help provide much needed school supplies to the children of our community.
Since its inception, the S.O.S. event has provided over eighty tons of school supplies to needy students to help them be successful in school. This year’s event promises to be one of the best ever.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with the concert starting at 6:00 p.m.
Performing groups include Jay Perez, Solido, Los Palominos, David Lee Garza, Elida Y Avante, Bobby Pulido, Javier Galvan y Fama and Origen . Other groups will also be featured. This year’s concert will be hosted by Z-93 DJ “Bird” Rodriguez.
Tickets are still available for the event at HEB, IBC, Z93, Falcon Bank and other locations. Tickets are also available at the Office of Judge Danny Valdez located at 1000 Houston Street. Just donate three packets of school supplies and receive a ticket to the concert Wednesday.
