WEBB COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES ARREST TWO ON SEPARATE INCIDENTS

Laredo, Texas – On Wednesday, September 02,2009, The Webb County Sheriff’s office working proactively initiated several arrest on street level crimes both inside and outside Laredo.
The first incident occurred at the 700 blk. of frost, Laredo, Texas, at approximately 10 pm, this residence is familiar to the Webb County Sheriff Office, on 02/08, The Webb County Sheriff Office seized over two ounces of marijuana and arrested two subjects. This seizure was similar, almost two ounces of marijuana were seized, and a 357 caliber hand gun. Most importantly this residence was dealing narcotics just blocks within an elementary school. Arrested was Octavio Vasquez Hernandez 23 YOA who incidentally had been arrested before at the same address.
The second arrest at approximately 10: 30 pm, Wednesday, September 02, 09, also netted a 45 caliber handgun, and over 27 grams of cocaine along with three thousand seven hundred and thirty seven dollars in US currency, deputies arrested Gonzalo Arce Jr., YOA, 29, after Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the city of El Cenizo, Tx.,.
Octavio Vasquez Hernandez, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana C/A Drug Free Zone. Gonzalo Arce Jr., was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance F/3 and Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm C/A. Both subjects were remanded to the Webb County Jail in lieu of bond.
