UISD Librarians Observe National Library Week

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, UISD librarians celebrated National Library Week with a seminar where they exchanged ideas and discussed new resources for the classroom. This year’s theme is Libraries Lead. “Each April, librarians across the nation celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries, and also promote library use and support” said Celia Taboada, UISD Director of Staff Development. The American Library Association established the National Library Week observance in 1958.
