TAMIU Graduate Nurses Earn 100% Passing Rate for Third Year

(Laredo, Texas)-Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) College of Nursing and Health Science, Dr. F. M. Canseco School of Nursing Class of 2017 recipients of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) graduate degree posted a 100% passing rate on their first attempt on Board Exams from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). 

This is the third consecutive year that TAMIU FNP graduates score 100% success on their Board Exams on first attempt. 

TAMIU College of Nursing and Health Sciences Dean, Dr. Glenda Walker, said the feat underscores the graduates’ commitment and preparation. 

            “We applaud these FNP graduates and our faculty are thrilled to have partnered with them on their successful journey.  They are academically and clinically prepared to take on the role of family nurse practitioners, and provide a standard of excellence in care for all,” Dr. Walker said.
