United ISD To Hold Community Job Fair

(Laredo, Texas)-Are you interested in being part of an innovative school district that’s making a difference in the lives of children each day? If so, then United ISD is looking for you.
Interested individuals are invited to attend the United ISD Job Fair from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the United Middle School gym located at 700 E. Del Mar Blvd. The job fair will be free and open to the public.
Job vacancies that need to be filled, range from instructional to non-instructional positions. These vacancies include teachers, teacher aides, substitutes, bus drivers, facility workers, after school program providers, food service, and custodial positions.
“The goal of this job fair is to recruit highly qualified individuals for various vacancies that we have in our District” said United ISD Superintendent Roberto J. Santos. “We’re looking for talented and dedicated individuals.”
At the job fair, staff from each of the District’s elementary schools, secondary schools and departments will be present. Although, final applicants have to apply on-line, individuals will have an opportunity to meet prospective principals and supervisors in-person. T
hey may also choose to give out their resume.
“We invite all to come and explore job opportunities with United ISD,” said United ISD Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources David Garcia. “It’s a great organization to work for and we offer competitive pay and benefits.”
Individuals who attend the job fair should dress business casual and bring all valid identification.
*Final candidates must also successfully complete a physical, drug test, fingerprinting and criminal background check as well as other requirements.
