KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUTS TEACHER OF THE YEAR WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT ARNDT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

(Laredo, Texas)-Three United ISD educators swept the eighth annual Krispy Kreme Doughnuts “Teacher of the Year” program for 2017. They were all honored at a special ceremony held May 1, at Arndt Elementary School.
The outstanding Krispy Kreme
”Teachers of the Year” for the Laredo area were: Teacher of the Year – Teresa Denise Rodriguez, a kinder teacher at Arndt Elementary School; Teacher of the Year 1st Runner Up – Martha Perales, a 4th grade teacher at Kazen Elementary School; and Teacher of the Year 2nd Runner Up – Jeanette Montalvo, a special education teacher at Gutierrez Elementary School.

, in partnership with Oak Farms/Hygeia/Price, recognized the three teachers at the special recognition ceremony.
All teachers in private and public schools from grades K-12 were eligible for nomination. Teachers had to be nominated by someone at their school – a student, parent, fellow teacher or administrator.
In addition to sweet Krispy Kreme rewards, the winning teachers were given the following: the Teacher of the Year Winner received $500 plus $500 for their school, the Teacher of the Year Runner Up received $250 plus $250 for their school, and the Teacher of the Year Second Runner Up received $100 plus $100 for their school.
