United South’s Yesenia Garcia Wins National BPA Competition

United South’s Yesenia Garcia (11th grader) wins Nationals in Business Professionals of America (BPA) competition. BPA is a national student organization that allows students from middle school, high school and college to compete in business and technology categories Skills.
Yesenia competed in advanced accounting at regionals placing 1st in McAllen, Texas. She then moved on to compete in State in Dallas, Texas placing 1st which sent her straight to Nationals where she swept another 1st Place award.
She competed in a division of 60 competitors from all over the nation. Congratulations Yesenia, Job well done!
