Ruiz Elementary School “Careers On Wheels” Enjoyed by Students!

(Laredo, Texas)-Ruiz Elementary school hosted law enforcement and emergency service agencies, private businesses and city services at their “Careers on Wheels” event. Students enjoyed interacting with guests while viewing the work vehicles and implements that were on display.
The aim of this annual event is give students an opportunity to become familiarized with some of the careers that are available in our community. Guests included the Laredo Police Department, United ISD Police department and K-9 unit, Guerra Communications, Hydro Cleaning, Laredo Fire Department, H.E.B., Border Patrol, City of Laredo with “Willie “Bote”, Core Civic Processing Center, Sonic, and Pancho the Laredo Lemurs mascot.
