First LEA Event of the Year: WWE Smackdown Live

LAREDO, TX – The Laredo Energy Arena rang the New Year with first event, WWE Smackdown Live on Tues., Jan. 5.
“What a great way to start the New Year with a huge and popular event like WWE Smackdown Live,” said Xavier Villalon, General Manager of the SMG – Managed Laredo Energy Arena. “The crowd was thrilled and yelling with excitement to their favorite wrestlers throughout the event.”
WWE Superstars included John Cena, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Big Show, Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family, Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler, WWE Divas Charlotte and Becky Lynch and many other wrestler favorites. WWE legends Jerry “The King” Lawler and Ric Flair also made an appearance.
This televised event can be seen on Thurs., Jan. 7 on the USA Network Channel.
