COMMISSIONER TIJERINA TO DONATE BLANKETS TO ELDERLY

(Laredo, Texas)-With cold temperatures expected to arrive in coming weeks, Commissioner Rosaura “Wawi” Tijerina and the Larga Vista Community Center are making sure that elderly residents are warm and safe from Jack Frost. The “Keeping Our Elderly Warm” blanket giveaway will allow participating area members the opportunity to enjoy a warm blanket to help them weather out the chilly months.
“In the spirit of the holidays, we saw it only fitting to give something back to our elderly members in appreciation for all that they have done for our community,” said Commissioner Tijerina. The blanket giveaway is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15th at the Larga Vista Community Center located on 5401 Cisneros, Laredo, TX.
