UISD Police Department’s Defending Our Badge Flag Football Tournament

(Laredo, Texas)-Law enforcement agencies from our local and surrounding communities took part in the UISD Police Department’s Defending Our Badge flag football tournament. The event was held at Krueger Field on Saturday, November 14th. It was a football game with a very different goal, which was to make the Christmas a little merrier for many less fortunate children in our District.
Participating law enforcement agencies included the Laredo Police Department, Border Patrol Department, GEO Group, CCA-Laredo & Dilley, LISD Police Department, Webb/Zapata County District Attorney’s Office and Webb County Sheriff’s Association. The event raised over $3,000. The UISD Police Department thanks all of the law enforcement agencies that supported this worthy cause.
