TAMIU Hosts “Leadership Launch Laredo” Women’s Leadership Training Friday, Sept. 11

(Laredo, Texas)-Women of all ages and phases searching for personal and professional growth are invited to a one-day leadership training program, “Leadership Launch Laredo,” Friday, Sept. 11 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Student Center Ballroom.
Presented by Leadership Women, Inc., and hosted by TAMIU, “Leadership Launch Laredo” is a one special day of learning, inspiration, sharing and fun for women.
Registration is $99 and includes continental breakfast, refreshments and lunch as well as materials.
Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.
Leadership Women is a non-profit social enterprise that provides leadership education programs to advance and improve the personal, economic and professional status of women.
Event topics include “Strengths to be An Exceptional Leader,” “Strategies for Resilience,” “Mindfulness to Manage Expectations,” “Networking for Lasting Relationships.”
Gina De La Miyar González, TAMIU associate vice president of Student Success, said participants will also learn from proven leaders in the community about their leadership lessons.
“We encourage all women to register for this one-time event and learn from engaging group activities, powerful exchanges, challenging introspection and the latest in leadership content,” she said.
