“Second Annual Earth Day-Fallen Hero Recognition”

(Laredo, Texas)-The South Texas Afghanistan Iraq Veterans Association takes great joy in participating in Earth day in a very unique way.
Veterans from the South Texas Afghanistan Iraq Veterans Association will plant a tree dedicated to the memory of a soldier Killed in Action, Roberto Arizola Jr. A plaque with the veteran’s information will also be placed.
The goal of the association is to remember our veterans and also beautify our community. Persons attending the center can learn of the many sacrifices our veterans have made. Public is invited to attend the ceremony.
The Even will take place on Monday April 27th at 10a.m. the location of the event is the James and Maria Luisa Haynes Health and Wellness Center at 2102 Clarks Crossing Drive.
