UISD Reminds All to Check Their Heart Health

(Laredo, Tx)-UNITED IN RED: Staff members from United ISD’s Curriculum and Instruction and Fine Arts Departments recently wore the red to raise awareness of heart disease. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is a health threat for men and women. For women, it’s the #1 risk that kills 1 in 3 women every year. As such, the District will be wearing a special AHA red shirt or red top on Fridays in February to remind all to check their heart health.
