(Laredo, Tx)-The Webb County Fire Department continues to expand! Through a grant issued by the Texas Forest Service, the Fire Department acquired two fire engines and one smaller response unit. One of the fire engines will be covering the North Hwy 59 area and the other will be housed in the Los Botines station on North Hwy 83. Also, the Fire Department is purchasing hoses, nozzles, monitors, radio equipment and other items to fully equip the fire trucks.
The presentation for the grant check will take place on Monday, September 15th at 9:30am and it will be at the Webb County Courthouse located at 1000 Houston St.
