The 5K run is open to the public and participants of all ages. Registration starts at 7:30 p.m. at the TAMIU Student Center Rotunda. The race will start at 8:30 p.m. and will cover the circumference of TAMIU grounds.
Fees are $25 for those who register before Saturday and $30 on the day of the race. Light refreshments will be provided. All proceeds will benefit travel expenses for the MUNST students.

WorldMUN simulates the United Nations, international organizations and governmental bodies such as the World Health Organization and the ASEAN Regional Forum. Participants represent countries, organizations and leaders, debating pressing international issues. This year’s Conference will be held in Seoul.
Esther Cavazos, MUNSST head delegate and president, said that besides her, the 2015 Team includes TAMIU students Barbara Montoya, Jorge Rullan, Selene Cuevas, Karen Vallejo, Norma Nuñez, Jihan Kuri, Hector González Cantú, Martha Chapa, and Annie Lara.
She said the race will be a fun activity for all ages.
“It will be a fun family activity that will benefit an organization which has done well in the past without much financial support,” Cavazos said, “Hopefully this year, we will get a lot more support and perform better than ever before.”
