LAREDO – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Laredo District will host a series of open house style public meetings for the development of the Rural State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) 2015-2018 relative to TxDOT’s Laredo District eight counties: Dimmit, Duval, Kinney, La Salle, Maverick, Val Verde, Webb and Zavala counties.
The events will take place on the following days:

This plan will establish a framework for addressing the challenges of improving our roadway infrastructure from fiscal years 2015 through 2018. The plan will also address the need for improvements to all modes of transportation including roadways, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, transit and Intelligent Transportation Systems.
The purpose of these meeting is to present an overview of the currently proposed projects for fiscal year 2015 through 2018 and to solicit comments and input to aid in the development of the plan. Information will be available for viewing at the meeting including exhibits of the current list of projects. Representatives from TxDOT will be in attendance to discuss the development of the list of projects and to answer questions. Forms will be provided for submitting written comments.
