Opening Statements Begin Tomorrow in William Henry Johnson Murder Trial

(Laredo, Tx)-Jury selection took place today in the murder trial of William Henry Johnson who is accused of killing 39-year-old Clarence Bruce Krusen, north of the city at the 14700 block of Atlanta Drive.
On February 17, 2012 Johnson, who is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, allegedly shot Krusen to death during work hours at ATC Forwarding Agency. Johnson is charged with murder, a first-degree felony and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
Johnson has been in custody awaiting trial at the Webb County Jail. Opening statements will begin tomorrow at 8:30 am before the 49th District Court Judge Jose A. Lopez.
Assistant District Attorney’s Johnathan Garcia, Juan R. Flores and Jorge Vela are prosecuting the case for the State.
