LISD Announces Free Summer Food Service Program

What’s fun and good for kids and teens this summer? The healthy meals and snacks provided by the Summer Food Program are what’s good for kids and teens this summer. To enjoy the free meals, kids just need to show up at the listed locations. Call 2-1-1 or view the attached document for serving times and locations. Laredo Independent School District announces the sponsorship of the free Summer Food Service Program.
Laredo recreation centers, pools, libraries, churches, housing centers and more will continue the Summer Food Program through August 7, 2009. Free healthy meals are provided by the LISD Child Nutrition Program through a federally funded program designed to feed hungry children. All children and youth can eat free at any of the open sites listed on the attachment.
