UISD High Schools Take “Top Honors” In National Cheerleading Competition Finals

(Laredo, Tx)- The UISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent Roberto J. Santos would like to congratulate the following high schools for winning “top awards” in the National Cheerleaders Association Senior and Junior School National Championship Finals held this weekend in Dallas , Texas .
The awards are as follows:
1st Place
J.B. Alexander High School
Medium Intermediate High School Category
And Awards for: “Best Use of Partner Stunts” and “Best Use of Tumbling”
1st Place
Lyndon B. Johnson High School
Non-Tumbling High School
And award for: “Best Use of Jumps”
2nd Place
United South High School
Non-Tumbling Division
And award for “Best Use of Partner Stunts”
