46th Annual Martin-Nixon Game Tickets on Sale

(Laredo, Tx)- The Laredo Independent School District’s Athletic Department announces the sale of tickets for the 46th annual Martin-Nixon football game, which will be played on Saturday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. at the Shirley Field Sports Complex. Tickets go on sale Monday, October 29.

 Reserved tickets for the game can only be purchased at the Athletic Director’s office which is located on the North End Zone at Shirley Field. The athletic office will be open Monday- Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Reserved tickets will be sold for $7.00.

 General admission tickets will only be sold at Martin and Nixon High School the week of the game for $6.00. Admission for students with an ID card is $3.00. General admission tickets will also be sold at the gate on game day for $7.00.

 Prior the annual game, LISD will celebrate the dedication of the Harry Bonugli Field House. Mr. Bonugli contributed over 30 years of service to the student-athletes of the Laredo Independent School District. He served as a middle and high school coach for many years and later was promoted and served as Athletic Director until he retired in 2000.

 During halftime, LISD will have its annual Veterans Day salute to all our men and women who have served in the armed forces. All veterans are encouraged to attend the salute. Veterans will be guests of LISD and will need to show their DD 214 card or identify themselves as veteran’s at the gate. Senior Citizens will also be guest of LISD and will need to show their LISD Gold Card.

 Also, the LISD Police Department will be conducting security checks at all entrances. All handbags, backpacks, and purses will be searched. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. Parking will be available at Martin High School, Christen Middle School, Leyendecker Elementary School, and Veterans Field.
