A new program to keep Webb County employees healthy will be kicked off this Tuesday at the County.
Webb County Commissioners recently approved Catapult Health, a worksite health screening program offering a diagnostic blood test and follow-up of results with a nurse practitioner. The free service is offered to all Webb County employees and their adult dependents covered under the County’s BCBSTX health insurance plan.
“The County is excited about rolling out this type of health initiative and has always been supportive of any wellness programs that will help employees.” said Judge Danny Valdez. “We encourage all employees to use this program that will lead to a healthier life.”
The first of the health checkups will take place Tuesday, July 24th from 7 a.m. to noon at the Webb County Facilities conference room located at 7902 East Saunders.
