TAMIU Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams to host an International Friendly Exhibition

TAMIU Men’s and Women’s soccer teams will host an International Friendly exhibition on Saturday, Aug. 20 at Dustdevil Field for the first Annual RLC Border Friendship Cup with México. The double header action will serve as a fundraiser to help build relationships between two bordering cities. The TAMIU women’s soccer team will play at 5:30 p.m. against a professional team, the Corpus Christi Fuel. TheTAMIU men’s soccer team will take to the field at 8 p.m. to battle for the RLC Border Friendship Cup against the Nuevo Laredo Bravos, a professional team that plays in the Mexican Football League Second Division in Nuevo Laredo.
