TAMIU Dusty Camp Today and Friday

Courtesy Steve Harmon,

The Fall semester at TAMIU is just around the corner and nearly 300 new students and first-time freshmen will take part in  New Student Orientation, Dusty Camp, scheduled Thursday and Friday.

The Dusty Camp experience focuses on giving students information that sets the stage for atimely and purposeful transition to University life. The required overnightprogram for all first-time entering TAMIU freshmen is designed to give them the necessary tools to be successful as they begin their TAMIU studies.

The experience is also available as an option to TAMIU parents with Parent and Family Orientation scheduled July 14. It provides an excellent opportunity for parents to connect with both University administrators and other parents and learn about TAMIU’s various support programs and services available to all students.

Thursday, July 14 from 8:30 a.m. – Friday, July 15 at 4:45 p.m. in various campus locations.
