Texas A&M International University Dusty Orientation Camp

Courtesy Steve Harmon,

The Fall semester at TAMIU is just around the corner and new students and first-time freshmen will participate in the summer’s first New Student Orientation, Dusty Camp, scheduled Thursday and Friday, June 16-17.

The Dusty Camp experience focuses on giving students information that sets the stage for atimely and purposeful transition to University life. The required overnight program for all first-time entering TAMIU freshmen is designed to give them the necessary tools to be successful as they begin their TAMIU studies.

The experience is also available as an option to TAMIU parents with Parent and Family Orientation scheduled June 16. It provides an excellent opportunity for parents to connect with both University administrators and other parents and learn about TAMIU’s various support programs and services available to all students.
