Washington, D.C. – Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) announced today that Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo “Sigi” Gonzalez and McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez will testify before the House Homeland Security Oversight, Investigations and Management Subcommittee on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, in 311 Cannon House Office Building, Washington, D.C 20515. During their testimony before the subcommittee, Sheriff Gonzalez and Chief Rodriguez will speak about law enforcement efforts taking place in South Texas to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.
