Lane Closures on US 83 (Guadalupe & Chihuahua ) for Bridge Beam Work

LAREDO – Weather permitting April 4-7 daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., inside lane closures will be in effect for Guadalupe St. (April 4-5, 2011) and Chihuahua St. (April 6-7, 2011) for bridge beam placement work between Monterrey and Cedar Streets.
Please SLOW DOWN and MERGE to outside lane(s) and observe advanced warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
The US 83 (Guadalupe-Chihuahua) street and lane closures are associated with ongoing construction of railroad overpass known as the US 83 RRGS (railroad grade separation) project (CSJ# 0086-01-052) being constructed by Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. at a cost of $10.8 million. TxDOT Laredo Area Engineer Carlos G. Rodriguez, P.E. is responsible for this project.
