Featured soloists in FranzKrommer’s Concerto for Two Clarinets are Enrique Rodriguez and Angel Ortiz. The ensembles are directed by Dr. David Manuel Garcia, director of bands at TAMIU.
“It’s pretty cool that we can do music from TV, movies, wartime radio shows, classical orchestra and popular big bands all on one concert,” says senior trumpet major, Cesar Casiano, who has solos in “Selections from Ray Charles.”
