Today June 3, 2009 at approximately 9:41 am on 4205 Loop 20 an ICE agent witnessed a commission of a crime in progress and attempted to intercept the suspect. (Unknown what the agent was trying to intervene with at this time). A identified suspect fled from the agent and began a foot pursuit. While the agent was in pursuit on foot he was struck by a vehicle and was slightly injured. The vehicle then sped off and left without rendering aid or identifying himself. A witness wrote the plates of the vehicle involved in the striking of the ICE Agent. The plates led police to a residence on Cortez Street where the suspect vehicle was found. The suspect was hiding out at yet another residence on Garfield and that is where Police took him into custody. Miguel Angel Salinas 19 was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon F/2.
