United ISD Police Takes Part In Annual ‘Cops on Rooftop’ For Special Olympic Athletes

(Laredo, Texas)-Members of Laredo’s law enforcement agencies and the Laredo Fire Department take their support for local Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) athletes to new heights. Earlier today, Laredo law enforcement agencies joined forces in an effort to collect monetary donations to support local Special Olympics Texas programming. The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) members gathered on the rooftop of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to raise awareness and funds for more than 2,000 Laredo-area SOTX Athletes.
