Early Voting for McAllen Commission Districts 4 and 5 Begins April 22, 2019

McAllen, Texas– The City of McAllen is holding a regular election for registered voter residents of McAllen City Commission Districts 4 and 5 on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Early Voting for those offices will begin on Monday, April 22, 2019 continuing through Tuesday, April 30, 3019, from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. each day, at each location throughout Early Voting.
Early Voting by personal appearance is at the following three locations:
- Fireman’s Pump House – 201 North 1st Street
- Palm View Community Center – 3401 Jordan Avenue
- Lark Community Center – 2601 Lark Avenue
Election Day will take place Saturday, May 4 from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the following polling location:
District 4 Palm View Community Center 3401 Jordan Avenue
District 5 McAllen High School 2021La Vista Avenue
Election Day voting is also only open for registered voters of McAllen City Commission Districts 4 and 5, on Election Day and on this day, they will only be able to vote in their respective districts.
The City of McAllen will once again be utilizing the electronic voting machines exclusively for this election during both Early Voting and Election Day. Paper ballots will not be used for this election. The machines are different than the ones owned by Hidalgo County.
