Registration Underway for TAMIU Continuing Education’s 17th Advanced Placement Summer Institute

(Laredo, Texas)-New and experienced teachers can learn how to effectively teach Advanced Placement (AP) classes in their classrooms by attending an intensive summer institute at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) July 30-Aug. 2.
Registration is underway for the 2019 Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI), which will be offered through the TAMIU Office of Continuing Education.
A total of nine AP courses and one Pre-AP course in Math will be offered, said Susan Foster, director of Continuing Education. AP courses include English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition, Calculus BC, U.S. History, Art and Design, World History Modern, Spanish Literature and Culture, Biology, and Government and Politics.
