Honor Society Students from Ruiz Elementary attend workshop at UT

(Laredo, Texas)-Ruiz Elementary National Honor Society spent the day in Austin, Texas this past Saturday, March 2, 2019. Students participated in Explore UT, a day-long event in where students can experience research experiences, hands-on demonstrations, and experiments, and participate in the richness of the university’s history. Principal Michelle A. Cantu encourages students to broaden their horizons towards college and career readiness and motivates them towards achieving higher education after high school.
