United High School Senior Marcos Alejandro Munoz Signs Scholarship for UTRGV

(Laredo, Texas)-Congratulations to United High School (UHS), senior Marcos Alejandro Munoz, who signed a cross-country scholarship to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). UHS cross-country coach Eduardo Gonzalez said that Munoz is a great student and one of the best athletes in the state. “It’s been my pleasure to coach Alejandro. His competitive spirit and determination has driven him to improve over the years.
He had a great breakout season last year when he he came close to making state as a junior. He has earned his spot with his future team at UT Rio Grande Valley”, said Gonzalez. Munoz plans to major in electrical engineering and credits his parents with giving him unconditional support in all of his endeavors. “I am looking forward to competition at the college level”, said Munoz.
