LBJ Early College High School Wins Best PSA

(Laredo, Texas)- United ISD is pleased to announce that LBJ Early College students, under the direction of Ms. Cynthia Gallardo, have won the title of Best PSA for the 9th Annual Rio Research Roundup. For the past nine years, the Rio Grande International Study Center has hosted the Rio Research Roundup where students from the United States and Mexico test the waters of the Rio Grande or one of its tributaries. 78 schools, from Colorado to Brownsville and Matamoros, participated in testing for nitrogen, pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrate and taking other field observations.
The students are invited to submit essays, data, short videos, artwork, and Public Service Announcements. Congratulations to the students of the LBJ Early College High School for their hard work and dedication to furthering their education and on producing an award-winning PSA.
