KGNS’ Annual Disney’s The Magic of Storytelling held at Centeno Elementary

(Laredo, Texas)-KGNS held their annual “Disney’s The Magic Of Storytelling” event at Centeno Elementary on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Every year, KGNS donates Disney books to the students of United ISD.
The students then have the pleasure of being read to by one of their favorite news anchors. KGNS anchors Melinda “Mindy” Casso, Richard “Heatwave” Berler, Gabriella Ceballos, Harry Sullivan, and Marissa Limon greeted the students, Centeno principal Amabilia Gonzalez and school librarian Anali Garcia. Mindy Casso read Disney’s “Incredible Dash” to the second grade students in the school’s library while “Heatwave,” Gabriella Ceballos, Harry Sullivan, and Marissa Limon read to other students in their classrooms.
United ISD would like to thank KGNS for so graciously donating storybooks, and their time, to the students of Centeno and Freedom Elementary.
