(Laredo, Texas)-For over 30 years the Border Patrol, Laredo Sector has recognized local high school students who exemplify good character, stellar grades, and the fortitude to help create a better community with their Youth of the Month Program.
In a wonderful ceremony at United South High School, eleven students were recognized for their phenomenal achievements in and out of the classroom. Four of those students came from our very own high schools. Athena Rodriguez of John B. Alexander, Natalia Arreola of Lyndon B. Johnson High School, Monserrat Garza, of United High School, and Jacqueline Maldonado of United South High School are the most recent students added to the prestigious list of students who have been honored as Head of the Class for their respective schools this year.
“This is a tremendous honor for our students,” stated Roberto J. Santos. “Their achievements and success academically speaks volumes of the wonderful leaders they are,” he stated.
