UISD Elementary School STREAM Project Winners

(Laredo, Texas)-On April 20, an impressive array of Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math (STREAM), projects impressed visitors to the SAC. The projects were created by students from all UISD elementary campuses.
The students received some assistance from their teachers to bring the projects to fruition.
The public viewing was followed by a final analysis and judging by UISD teachers and elementary science coordinators. STREAM based research projects are designed to teach students to think critically and use engineering technology in imaginative designs or creative approaches to real world problems. The projects also build on students’ mathematics and science base.
