Lyndon B. Johnson One Act Play Cast Advances to Area Level Competition

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, students in Lyndon B. Johnson high school’s One Act Play program secured a big win at the UIL Bi-District level competition for their performance of a scene from Never The Sinner by John Logan. The competition was held in La Joya, Texas On March 22.
The next step for the talented thespians is Area Level competition at Zapata High School in Zapata, Texas on March 31. The UIL One-Act Play Contest is a competition where similarly sized Texas schools present 18-40 minute plays, which may be adjudicated by a panel of three judges or a single judge for further advancement to Bi-District, Area, Region, and State.
