UHS Omar Cervantes Signed his Letter of Intent to Play Baseball for Grayson County College

(Laredo, Texas)-United High School senior Omar Cervantes signed his letter of intent to play baseball for Grayson County College in their NJCAA Division 1 Program.
The Grayson Baseball Program holds several titles, including back to back championships of the JUCO World Series, making them the 6th team in history to win the championship back to back. Grayson’s Viking Baseball team is led by Coach Dusty Hart.
Cervantes is currently the starting 1st/3rd baseman for the Mighty Longhorn Varsity team, During his freshman year with the team, Cervantes he was named the district’s New Comer of the Year. During his sophomore year he was an Honorable Mention Pitcher and 2nd Team 1st Baseman. Last year he was named 2nd Team 1st Baseman and 1st Team Pitcher.
