Tigres UANL to Face Off Against Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz at H-E-B Park

EDINBURG, TEXAS, – Two LIGA MX teams will face off at H-E-B Park when Club de Fútbol Tigres de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and Club Deportivo Tiburones Rojos de la Veracruz come into town.
The match between Tigres UANL and Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz will kick off at 7:30p.m. on Wednesday, November 8 at H-E-B Park, stadium officials announced today. The game is presented by SPD Sports
“We are committed in bringing world-class soccer and entertainment to the Rio Grande Valley.” said H-E-B Park President Bert Garcia. “We are excited that we have the opportunity to host these teams and their fan bases at H-E-B Park.”
Tickets for the match will go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. , with prices starting at $35.To purchase tickets, fans can visit HEBParkRGV.com or visit the box office of H-E-B Park, which is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT.
Tigres UANL has been crowned champion of the Mexican league a total of five times. Most recently, Tigres UANL finished runner up in the Clausura 2017. In international play, Tigres UANL has won the Superliga in 2009 and finished runner up in the Copa Libertadores and the CONCACAF Champions League.
The club boasts a star-studded roster including André-Pierre Gignac, Lucas Zelarayán, Eduardo Vargas, Javier Aquino, and Hugo Ayala.
Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz was founded over 70 years ago. During the club’s existence, they have lifted the Mexican league championship twice.
Players in their roster include Cristian Pellerano, Martin Bravo, Daniel Villalva and Edgar Andrade.
