(Laredo, Texas)-Students at Kennedy-Zapata conducted a research study on how they could help the community better take care of pets. To showcase their learning they held a short presentation and performance during the September Parent Teacher Committee meeting.
During the presentation students shared important information and tips to help pet owners properly care for their pet. Also in attendance at the event were representatives from PETCO, Laredo Animal Protective Society, and Friends for Life.
Kennedy-Zapata Elementary Staff would like to extend a sincere thank you to PETCO for their generosity. PETCO donated items for a new aquarium for the Fourth Grade Science Lab as well as gifts for students who were being recognized at the meeting.
