The Alexander High School Bulldogs Football program held a three day football Kiddie Campfor students in 6th grade and under. The program gave young athletes a general introduction to America’s game, and for some it was an opportunity to brush up their skills.
Components of the camp included passing, catching and defensive positioning. Head coach and coordinator Joel Lopez said that the camp also taught lessons of good sportsmanship and teamwork in a positive and fun environment. “In addition to the physical fitness benefits, the football camp also helped our young athletes understand the importance of developing close bonds with others to achieve a common goal”, said Lopez.
