United Longhorn Students Receive Sports Scholarships

(Laredo, Texas)-The United High School gymnasium was the site of another triple scholarship signing on May 10, 2017. First to sign for her softball scholarship at Laredo Community College was Daniela Ybanez.
She was accompanied by her parents, James and Doris Christman. Daniela is eager to continue her development as a softball player and plans to enter the field of Business Management.
Next, Roxy Segura signed her scholarship to play softball for Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas. Ms. Segura is also looking forward to playing her favorite sport at the next level, and aspires to have a career in Early Childhood Education. Her proud parents are Miguel and Claudia Segura.
The third scholarship honoree to sign on the dotted line was Odalis Carrillo. Odalis looks forward to the challenges as a collegiate level basketball player for Panola College in Carthage, Texas. She plans to study Criminal Justice. Her proud parents are Alexeide and Grizelda Carrillo.
