United ISD’s Untamed Zumba Master Class Sets New Record

Laredo, Texas-United ISD: “Let’s Move for Scholars” Untamed Glow Zumba Master Class delivered a high-energy party atmosphere that emphasized the importance of health, fitness, while raising funds for student scholarships. The sense of community and positive energy in the room was remarkable, filled with over 360 participants.
The event took place on Saturday, January 28th at United High School’s 9th grade Gymnasium. “United ISD wants to thank all the participants, sponsors and volunteers who helped make our 6th annual event a great success,” said United ISD Superintendent, Roberto J. Santos.
A special thanks to our powerhouse Zumba instructors, Ana Gutierrez, Karina Mendoza, Veronica Vidal, Erika Mendoza, Luis Torres and Ricardo Pena. Also, thanks to our Master of Ceremonies, Miguel Amante of Univision for your incredible energy that set the tone for our high energy Zumba Master Class. Over $7,000 was raised at this year’s event. Events such as this one would not be possible without the help and support of the community.
Event sponsors included; Blue Cross Blue Shield, Knockout Women’s Boxing Gym, Rock Fitness, Toxic Crossfit, 4 Life Center, Momentum Running and I Love Laredo Newspaper.
