Webb County Court at Law #2 DWI Court Graduation

(Laredo, Texas)-Webb County’s Court at Law #2 will be holding a graduation ceremony at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 5th for the participants of the Misdemeanor DWI Court Program. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the DWI Court team members, 19 participants will be honored at the County Court at Law #2 courtroom on 1110 Victoria St., 4th floor. In attendance will be Webb County District Attorney’s Office, Webb County Public Defender’s Office, Adult Probation Office, SCAN, and the participants’ families.
The primary goal of the program is to reduce risk to the community by engaging 2nd time DWI offenders with an intensive educational, community supervision, and counseling program. The program is designed to promote self-awareness and behavior modification for the participant and improve public safety for the community. It also provides counseling and treatment services to individuals who are diagnosed with alcohol dependence.
