15TH ANNUAL GUITARRAS DE NAVIDAD PRESENTED TUESDAY AT TAMIU

(Laredo, Texas)-Sleigh bells will ring and guitar strings strum at the 15th Annual “Guitarras de Navidad Concert” at Texas A&M International University Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Recital Hall.
A $5 TAMIU Scholarship donation is requested at the door. Children 12 and under and TAMIU students with ID can enter free.
The Concert is hosted by the TAMIU College of Arts and Sciences Department of Fine and Performing Arts and supported by Women’s City Club.
The program draws from the sounds of the season and features the TAMIU Classical Guitar Ensemble, directed by Dr. Gilberto D. Soto, professor of Music Education. Special Guest Artist is University Organist Dr. Colin Campbell.
Included in the program are The Instant Nutcracker Suite, Silent Night, Suite de Noel, La Cumparsita and many more.
Members of the TAMIU Classical Guitar Ensemble include: René Herrera, Patricia González, Cristobal Veloz, José Luis Macías, Joceline Mireles, Leonel Salinas, Nathan Pérez, Becky Caballero, Orlando Reyes, Santiago Moreno, Roberto Coronado, Fernanda Garza, Delma Denise Ramos, Anne Sánchez ,Óscar Ortegón, Ernesto Riojas, Juan E. Ramírez and Miguel Duran, guest.
